Workshop Description:

Suffering is a part of life. We will all go through challenges times in our life and it is useful to know how to handle these times with wisdom and grace. This workshop will review what is suffering, why we go through suffering, what are the benefits to suffering and how we can use suffering to awaken.

The holy books and the history books have described in detail the presence, the necessity of both joy and suffering to be experienced by those who take a human birth. They have listed the lengths and depths of the suffering that their seekers and saviors experienced for freedom. These great beings saw suffering as indicator that something was out of whack, incongruent and utilized to assist in returning to congruence and peace and then as an aid in awakening to their true nature.

The 5 core components of the Workshop

  1. Identifying the seeds of suffering
  2. Preventing unnecessary suffering
  3. Discerning pain from suffering
  4. Utilize suffering to awaken
  5. Transcending suffering
