SUMMARY:Kirtan at Living Peace
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Living Peace for Kirtan with Hanuman Das\, Richard\,  and Ginny. Enjoy a beautiful afternoon of live music\, chanting\, meditation and spiritual discussion. \nKirtan is the sacred and ancient tradition of chanting mantras in call and response style\, which is a style of yoga called Bhakti Yoga\, also known as the yoga of the heart. We chant mantras in the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit\, which has a powerful vibration as these words have been chanted for thousands of years to the divine. \nKirtan is a joyous\, uplifting\, divine experience. It is a great way to meditate as it gives your body something to do (e.g. chant)\, and gives your mind something to focus on (e.g. the music and the mantra) and therefore the practice can quickly help to quiet a busy\, stressed or distracted mind. \nWhether this is your first time at kirtan or you’ve done it many times before\, each event provides a unique experience. You may leave feeling joyful or reflective or peaceful or more powerful. The mantras will provide whatever you need when chanted with an open\, receptive heart. \nNo experience is required for this beautiful practice. As long as you have a body\, heart and mind\, you are welcome! \nPrice: $35 \n  \n\n\n\nBuy Now
