SUMMARY:Inversion Excursion
DESCRIPTION:Date: Sat 13th June 2026 \nTime: 11am – 2pm \nPrice: $130 \nThis workshop is specifically for those who are ready to try inversions or those who want to refine their practice of inversions. Inversions are any pose where the heart is higher than the head\, where we turn upside down and see the world from a new perspective. Asana’s include headstand (sirsasana)\, handstand (adho mukha vrksasana)\, forearm balance (pincha mayurasana)\, shoulderstand (sarvangasana) and even downward facing dog. \nWe will break down these poses\, taking them step by step\, to help us access the pose to the level appropriate for our body and access them safely and securely. We will discover how to build strength and flexibility to find the best alignment for each body in the pose. \nInversions are a great way to build courage\, a sense of inner (and outer) power and are certainly fun. \nAll levels are welcome to this course (as long as you have some yoga experience) as every inversion has alternatives and modifications to help us build towards the main pose and gain similar benefits. \nFacilitator: Ginny Clarke is a devoted\, senior yoga teacher and yoga therapist and co-owner of Living Peace Yoga. She has been teaching yoga since 2002 and her passion is to help people know their bodies intimately and work towards healing mind\, body and spirit through the vast array of techniques and wisdom which yoga offers. \nBookings are essential. \n  \nBuy Now \n
